Hi Jani,

Great idea. I’m currently in a large guild that is constantly bursting at the seams ;) 500 cap is just not high enough for us, but that is a WHOLE other story and I digress ;)

It’s definitely worth a try.

I would first see how many people here would be interested, and maybe note what time zones they are in. (you’be be surprised what a difference of 2-3 hours can make). Other considerations and discussions about subscriptions and other requirements can be reviewed later.

If 20 people or more would be interested, then It’s certainly do-able. Even if we had 10 people as a start, then it’d be worth starting the guild. They would all have to agree on either light side or dark side. (Light side is REALLY dead, which can be advantageous AND detrimental also. However, I am going to assume most will want to play dark side story line anyways ;)

It would be a good idea to “friend” a guild and with with them when it comes to Ops and other events.

I’m currently on the Jedi Covenant server and would recommend it to anyone. If for no other reason than the marketplace is extremely stable compared to others I have played on and you don’t get “charged” millions in extra credits as a “tip” for mods/armor etc.

I “was” a beta-tester and founder. I say “was” because I became frustrated with the game, the bugs, and the lack of fixes around when Oricron went live, and stopped playing, let my subscription lapse.
10 months later I log in and all 12 toons, all my gear, all my money I had invested into cartel packs etc, all gone. They didn’t even have a back-up that they could recover from that wasn’t almost a year old from when I last played. try to get cartel credits back for what I spent on, that was a good joke to them.
The guild I used to be an officer in, took me back and I’ve been playing for a couple months now. 1 level 55 and working on 2 more.

Again, I digress.

My guild’s website is at http://holocron.sithportal.com. It’s a GuildPortal.com site.

You can pretty much do anything with it and all the bells and whistles are available. Might be a better option than making your won site from scratch. A “GeekBeat” domain name can still be used.

Let me know if I can help and we’ll go from there.
